Born in northern Connecticut, I spent my childhood wandering around the fields and woods of my hometown. From an early age I was fascinated with the wild, spending almost all of my time outdoors. This fascination led me to study Natural Resources at the University of Vermont. After graduating I moved to a small island off the coast of Maine, which I now see as my home base while I am taking a break from wandering around and exploring our planet.
